EA has reduced the price of its digital PlayStation 4 titles by £3, lowering the asking price of Battlefield 4, Need For Speed: Rivals, FIFA 14, Madden NFL 25 and NBA Live 14 from £62.99 to £59.99 each.
The reduced price follows the reaction to yesterday’s PlayStation Store prices, which revealed that both first-party and third-party digital games would cost more on PS4 than on Xbox One.
Despite the reduction, however, EA’s PS4 games remain £5 more expensive than the Xbox One equivalent, which cost £54.99 each on the Xbox Games Store.
Battlefield 4 Premium remains at the inflated price, too, costing £42.99 on PS4 and £39.99 on Xbox One.
EA has yet to respond to VideoGamer.com’s request for comment over its digital pricing.
