EA Gothenburg has been renamed Ghost Games, the studio’s website has revealed.

Ghost, which was established by EA last year to focus on “making a new generation games on the Frostbite 2 engine”, is known to be working on Need For Speed ‘things’ with Criterion’s Alex Ward.

Located in the heart of Sweden’s second largest city, the studio is headed up by former DICE executive producer Marcus Nilsson, and appears to be made up of staff who have formerly contributed to multiple racing series’, including Forza Horizon, Need For Speed: The Run and Project Gotham Racing.

EA has yet to formally announce Ghost Games’ first project.
