Earlier this year Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos revealed a desire to bring Rock Band to the Wii, showing particular interest in the opportunities offered by the Wii Remote.
Despite this early sign of intent, EA is still refusing to confirm whether or not a version of the music title will be released for Wii.
Speaking to US video game magazine GamePro, EA’s Bryce Baer said: “We have not announced any plans for a Wii version at this time.”
This doesn’t rule out a Wii version though and given the strong sales of the game in North America on Xbox 360, PS3 and PS2 a Wii version seems likely.
Rock Band is currently scheduled for release across Europe in March.
