Koei today announced that Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires will be released across Europe for PS3 and Xbox 360 on June 26, 2009.
Set in the world of Dynasty Warriors, Empires is said to be no straightforward brawl, with players requiring strength of mind as well as muscle. For the first time ever in a Warriors game players get the opportunity to play as either a ruler or an officer: choose to be the all powerful decision maker who combines politics and tactics to achieve the ultimate goal or the warrior who carries out those orders and turns strategic planning into battlefield glory.
The game will feature one new character that didn’t appear in Dynasty Warriors 6 and six more characters feature new weapons and new move sets. Players will also be able to create their own unique character in edit mode.
A collection of incredibly influential cards can also be acquired throughout the game, providing players with an array of options to improve the state of their people or force followers to do their bidding.
