In Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires the player must command the armies of the kingdom, with the ultimate goal to conquer the 25 regions of Ancient China. Koei has chosen Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires to make the transition to the next generation because of its deeper, more strategic challenge.

The game will include four unlockable scenarios, two-player co-op play in both, Empire and Free modes, new items and a detailed Encyclopaedia of Ancient China. The European release of Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires on both Xbox 360 and PS2 is currently scheduled for the summer.
