Square Enix has announced that Dungeon Siege III will miss its previously announced May 27 release, instead hitting stores on June 17.

Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the franchise will make its debut on Xbox 360 and PS3 in addition to appearing on PC.

Players assume the role of one of four legionnaires in the crumbling kingdom of Ehb, fighting for the sake of their fallen comrades. You’ll be able to fight alone or alongside up to three friends thanks to seamless drop-in drop out co-op multiplayer.

No reason for the delay was given.
