GOG.com (a digital download service offering ‘Good Old Games’) has announced that Apogee Software is the latest publisher to join the site.

The first game from Apogee is Duke Nukem 3D, one of the all time classics of the FPS genre. It’s available for only $5.99 so there’s really no reason not to give it a go.

In Duke Nukem 3D Duke returns to Earth after various space-based adventures to find the planet – and Los Angeles in particular – overrun by alien scum. It’s up to the wisecracking action hero to kick some alien ass.

“Duke Nukem 3D at GOG.com? Hell yeah! We’re very excited about adding this landmark game to GOG.com,” said Adam Oldakowski, Managing Director of GOG.com. “Apogee’s titles are all top-notch, and we know that our great fan community will love them all.”

Joining Duke Nukem 3D over the coming weeks will be Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold, Blake Stone: Planet Strike and Rise of the Triad: Dark War.

All games released on GOG.com are DRM-free and are guaranteed to work on Vista and XP.
