UPDATE: And just like that it’s been pulled. See you in another 8 months?

ORIGINAL STORY: North American PS4 users are finally able to download DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition, the content-limited trial version of last year’s top racer.

The trial doesn’t yet appear to be available in Europe, however, nor is it known whether it will appear on the European PlayStation Store when it updates later this week. Given the problems the full game faced last year, it’s possible Sony could be staggering a release to help ensure a smoother launch.

DriveClub PS Plus Edition offers PlayStation Plus users access to 15 cars and all 13 tracks in the game’s India location, as well as complete access to every game mode, including online multiplayer matches and single-player Tour events. The full set of Trophies can also be unlocked, with the game weighing in at 14.7GB.

The trial had originally been due to launch alongside the full game last October, but was pulled after problems were discovered with the game’s netcode.

UK PS Plus users, meanwhile, can download the full game from PlayStation Store for £19.99.
