Dragon’s Dogma director Hideaki Itsuno tweeted an apology to fans who were expecting to see his new game show up at E3 in some shape or form.

Itsuno, who was also director on Devil May Cry 2 through 4, said ‘Sorry to not announce anything at E3. Please wait as my project is progressing smoothly.’

On New Year’s Eve, 2016, Itsuno took to to Twitter to tell fans that he was looking to announce a new game this year, so I guess we’ll have to wait and see what he’s working on.
