Original story: Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, an action RPG with a bunch of cool and complex systems, is getting a release for current gen consoles in Japan. Dark Arisen, itself an expanded version of the original release of Dragon’s Dogma, will be released for Xbox One and PS4 in ‘fall of 2017’, according to Famitsu.
This release is to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the original release of vanilla Dragon’s Dogma in 2012.
Dark Arisen came to PC early last year. Although this release on current console isn’t confirmed for western territories yet, Dragon’s Dogma performed and reviewed well in Europe and North America, so we may yet hold out hope.
