When Square Enix release the game in April it will include updates made for a European audience. These changes include new voice-overs from a British cast, a full-orchestral soundtrack, a new menu system, new abilities and improved animations.

Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King has received rave reviews in Japan and North America, where many have called the game one of the best to be released on the PlayStation 2. The game pits the player against a variety of monsters during an epic adventure across a seamless game world.

We are delighted to be bringing such a prestigious title to Europe. The launch of Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King marks a milestone for Square Enix as a leading European publisher, and will create a benchmark in gaming,” commented John Yamamoto, President and CEO of Square Enix. “There is high anticipation for Dragon Quest and this title will not disappoint.”
