BioWare has announced that its upcoming RPG Dragon Age: Origins will be supported at launch with the Warden’s Keep add-on.

Warden’s Keep will add a dungeon-based quest to the game, plus six new abilities, new items and a base where players can trade with merchants. Expect a supernatural storyline set in an ancient fortress once used by the Grey Wardens. The DLC will be available for 560 MS Points/$7 for Xbox 360, PC and PS3.

BioWare has also confirmed that two pieces of previously announced DLC, available for free to anyone who buys a new version of the game, will be offered at a premium price to those who go down the used game route.

The Stone Prisoner, priced 1,200 MS Points/$15, adds a stone golem character to the player’s party from the beginning of the game, unlocking numerous story options. Also available will be the Blood Armour DLC, providing upgraded protection – this will also be wearable in Mass Effect 2.

Dragon Age: Origins will be released for PC and Xbox 360 on November 6. The PS3 version will follow later in the month.
