BioWare’s forthcoming RPG, Dragon Age II, has been given an 18 rating by the BBFC.

The listing on the classification website states that the linear elements within the work (cutscenes) have a running time of 103 minutes.

It’s no surprise to see the second game in the Dragon Age series awarded an 18 rating, with the sequel offering just as much blood-shed as the original.

Dragon Age II is due for release on March 11 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Anyone who buys EA’s Dead Space 2 (due for release on January 28), will be able to download an exclusive Isaac Clarke amour set for use in the game.

Dragon Age and its sequel not only feature violent, bloody scenes, but also deal with sexual themes, making the series one that’s definitely for adults only.
