Dragon Age 2 is expected to be officially announced today, if internet people putting two and two together are coming up with the correct answer.

Yesterday an EA press release relating to Warhammer Online confirmed that BioWare is currently working on Dragon Age 2.

“Currently announced projects at BioWare include the development of ongoing downloadable content for Mass Effect 2, one of the highest rated video games of all time, Dragon Age 2, the highly anticipated sequel to 2009’s “RPG of the Year” Dragon Age: Origins, and the story-driven massively multiplayer online game, Star Wars: The Old Republic.”

This was later followed by a BioWare tweet, teasing fans with some big news.

“2morrow will be a great day for BioWare fans. Just sayin’,” revealed the tweet.

The post came around 11 hours ago, meaning we should hear something later today.

It’s not as if Dragon Age 2 has been a secret anyway; included in the retail release of Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening was a teaser pointing to February 2011.
