Headlander, a retro-futuristic, action-adventure game set in a world inspired by 70’s science fiction, will launch on July 26 for PS4 and PC, Double Fine and Adult Swim Games have announced.

The game is set in a world of automation, a utopia gone wrong in which all of humanity have transferred their minds into robotic bodies and are ruled by a deranged computer.

Players begin their adventure by selecting from three different heads, and then proceed to solve the mystery of who you are and why you’re the only human left. Your chosen head can dock into a range of bodies, including humanoid Citizens, robot dogs, turrets, computer terminals, and robot vacuum cleaners.
