During Bethesda's E3 2019 media briefing, we got a Doom Eternal trailer, as well as a look at some gameplay. It's suitably gory.

Earth is being consumed by demons, apparently, and it's your job to sort it out by going to a number of different locations that have never been featured in the series before, including Heaven. Sadly, we don't know much else past that, but it's still interesting to be heading upstairs in the long-running series.

Doom Eternal is playable in the Bethesda booth at E3 this week, so, if you're there, you can have a nose. Or you can have a look at the video below.

Battlemode was also announced, which is a multiplayer mode for the game, but we'll have to wait until Quakcon to hear more about that. But we did get a trailer, at least. We'll stick it in this post as soon as it's live on the Bethesda YouTube channel.

Doom Eternal is scheduled to launch November 22, 2019.
