Doodle Jump, the hugely popular iOS jumping game from Lima Sky, has received a multiplayer update.

The new functionality allows gamers to play friends or auto-matched foes in races to the finish line via Game Center.

“It feels great to finally release the multi-player update to the millions of Doodle Jumpers around the world,” said Igor Pusenjak, founder of Lima Sky. “Competing against your friends for the high score has always been one of the most fun aspects of Doodle Jump. This update transforms the experience with real-time jumping races.”

Lima Sky is currently working on Doodle Jump for Kinect for Xbox 360 and the long-awaited iPad version of the jumping phenomenon.
