Spanish developer Tragnarion Studios has announced it is now an official licensed Wii developer and is looking to bring its Doodle Hex video game franchise to the platform.

“… we are really looking forward to working with our recently acquired Wii license, so that we can bring the Doodle Hex saga to this amazing platform,” said Ricardo Carretero, Lead Designer of Doodle Hex. “We’ve been working on preparing some really innovative projects which will make full use of the Wii’s unique capabilities.”

Doodle Hex is a head-to-head battle game in which players, or Doodlers as they’re called in Doodle Hex, are enrolled into the College of Runes and must learn the intricacies of rune-casting and their use within elemental magic.

The DS game is scheduled for release across Europe in June.
