Bandai Namco Games and Dontnod Entertainment have announced that Twin Mirror will be released in episodic form.
The upcoming psychological thriller will come in three parts, the first of which will launch on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One in 2019. So, it's still a long way off, although from the sound of things it'll be worth the wait.
Set in West Virginia, Twin Mirror shines the spotlight on Sam, an investigative journalist returning home for the funeral of an old mate, only to fall unconscious and wake up with no recollection of what transpired.
If that's not bad enough, Sam also finds claret all over the place; not exactly the homecoming he was expecting.
Things get a little more complicated afterwards, as players will be hopping between reality and the Mind Palace to recreate events and get to the bottom of what happened. Sam's also accompanied by a disembodied voice known as Double, though it's not quite clear if it's there to help or hinder his progress.
