Those of you who were looking forward to catching up with The Walking Dead or Stranger Things on Netflix from the comfort of their Switch may want to brace themselves: The company has announced there’s currently no plans to bring the service to Ninty’s latest box of wonders.

Writing on Twitter, the streaming giant made it clear that Switch isn’t getting Netflix anytime soon. That’s despite the fact the service is available on the Wii U still, a console that’s pretty much gone the way of the Dodo and no longer really supported by the Big N.

If you’ve still got a Wii U then go crazy, but if you’re looking to upgrade to the Switch for all your TV-streaming needs, well, you’re s**t out of luck for now. Hopefully we’ll see a change of fortune for Switch owners down the line considering how much traction the console is gaining.

Netflix is currently available on the PS4 and Xbox One, so if you’re a multi-console owner it’s not all bad news.
