Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze has been delayed until early 2014, Nintendo has announced. The game had previously been due to launch this December.
Nintendo says that the reason for the Wii U platformer’s delay is to ensure that it can “deliver the optimum gameplay experience for fans”. The game is expected to launch in the US in February but a month for the UK release has yet to be confirmed.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is the follow-up to 2010 platformer Donkey Kong Country Returns and sees Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong and Donkey Kong travelling across multiple islands to reclaim their home.
