According to a translated interview with Final Fantasy XIII producer Yoshinori Kitase, Square Enix will support the highly anticipated RPG with post-release DLC.
“We did prepare a DLC but it will arrive a little later in the West,” Kitase told OPM Benelux.
Kitase also revealed that Square Enix had considered adding content to the Western version of Final Fantasy XIII, but decided the additional development time and consequent delay wasn’t worth it.
The game’s scheduled for release in the US and Europe on March 9.
