Marvel Entertainment has teased a second instalment in the Disney Infinity franchise – and dropped a big hint that the Avengers could be set to feature.
The trailer, titled “Get Ready To Assemble”, features a range of Disney Infinity characters chasing Captain America’s shield before cutting to the game’s logo. The words ‘2.0 Edition’ then fade into the top right corner.
Disney has yet to announce a follow up to last year’s game, but told VideoGamer.com previously that it had plans to annualise the series.
As well as the Avengers, there’s also the possibility of characters from the Star Wars universe appearing in this year’s game.
