Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes will release in the UK on September 19, Disney has confirmed to VideoGamer.com. The date means that the game will hit the UK a few days ahead of its North American launch on September 23.
The Starter Pack will include a copy of the full game plus the Infinity Base, the Marvel Super Heroes Play Set, two Power Discs and three Marvel characters: Thor, Black Widow and Iron Man.
Additional characters and Play Sets – including one for upcoming movie Guardians of the Galaxy – will be available to purchase separately.
Disney has yet to confirm, however, whether owners of the original Disney Infinity will be able to purchase a pack that doesn’t include the Infinity Base. There’s no need to purchase a second base, of course, as all the bits and bobs from the original game remain compatible with the sequel.
And don’t forget: if you pre-order Disney Infinity 2 from participating retailers you’ll also walk away with a free additional character.
