Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes will launch this autumn for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC and iOS, Disney Interactive has announced.
The follow-up to the three million selling Disney Infinity will offer more than 20 new interactive toys from across the Marvel universe, beginning with The Avengers’ Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, Hulk and Hawkeye. Additional Play Sets and characters from other popular Marvel and Disney franchises will be announced in the coming months.
The game will feature original storylines penned by award-wining Marvel comic writer Brian Michael Bendis, and an all-new Toy Box mode which claims to make it easier for players to create and share their levels and mini-games with family and friends.
All characters and power discs from last year’s release of Disney Infinity will be compatible with the Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes Toy Box.
The game is being developed by Avalanche Software.
