Dishonored 2 has been officially announced at Bethesda’s E3 2015 showcase, coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One in spring 2016. No gameplay footage was shown.

Revealed in a snazzy CGI trailer, the game will let you play as Emily Kaldwin, the rightful heir to the throne of the Isles who was kidnapped in the original game or as original progragonist Corvo. Your actions will have repercussions across the game’s timeline.

While Dishonored 2 is firmly a 2016 game, Dishonored Definitive Edition with all game content graphically enhanced for PS4 and Xbox one, will launch August 28. As well as enhanced visuals, the Definitive Edition will include Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and Void Walker’s Arsenal DLC, and will priced £29.99 in the UK.
