Nippon Ichi's cult role-playing game Disgaea: Hour of Darkness is getting the remake treatment on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch this year, publisher NIS America has announced.
Disgaea 1 Complete, as it's known, will launch this fall in the US and UK and includes a fresh lick of paint in the visual department that brings it up to date with the latest instalment in the franchise, Disgaea 5. In addition, the remake also chucks in a bunch of additional characters not seen in the 2013 original via the new Etna Mode.
Outside of the standard release of the tactical-flavoured RPG, NIS America is also offering a swanky Rosen Queen's Finest Edition for a wallet-draining $99.99, which throws in a bunch of extra physical goodies in addition to a copy of the game itself. You had better get your skates on if you want to grab yourself one though, as it's only available in limited quantites via NIS's website.
Disgaea 1 Complete has yet to attract a concrete release date but we'll keep you posted.
