ZA/UM has announced that open world RPG Disco Elysium: The Final Cut will launch on Xbox consoles on October 12.

The game will arrive on the same day as the Nintendo Switch edition, and will complete the much-lauded game’s trip around all formats. It originally launched for the PC back in 2019, before heading to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in March.

If you need a quick refresher, Disco Elysium sees you playing as an amnesiac detective. As you make your way through the dystopia of Revachol, you’ll investigate a murder in your own way. You can be a hero, madman, prophet or almost anything in-between.

The Final Cut is the definitive version of the game, with full voice acting added alongside new political vision quests. You can of course also enjoy full controller support with customisation and it runs at 4K at 60FPS on the Xbox Series X.

A physical release of the game is also planned, which will include a foldout poster and a digital artbook. A Collector’s Edition will also be available, adding a hand-painted Mid Totem vinyl sculpture and hardbound art book. That’ll be available from November 9.
