UPDATE: The Tarmac Terror pack is available to download now free of charge, Codemasters has announced. The pack includes 12 new rally stages set in Germany’s Baumholder location along with 5 additional cars:
- Opel Kadett GT/E 16v
- Opel Manta 400
- Lancia 037 Evo 2
- Seat Ibiza Kitcar
- Peugeot 306 Maxi
ORIGINAL STORY: DiRT Rally is getting its second major update later this week with the arrival of the new Tarmac Terrors pack, Codemasters has confirmed.
The pack is due to introduce a new German rally set within the Baumholder military compound, along with new Group B Rear Wheel Drive and Front Wheel Drive Kit cars.
It’ll be available at no additional cost to everybody who has purchased the game.
And if you’ve yet to buy DiRT Rally, this week is also your last chance to grab it at its original price. Once the Tarmac Terrors pack drops, the price of the game will increase by £1 to £25.99, with further price increases expected as additional packs become available.
If you want in at the lowest possible price, now’s the time to do it.
DiRT Rally rolled out in Early Access in April with a full release expected by the end of the year.
