Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred expansion gets October release date at Xbox Games Showcase

The Xbox Games Showcase is finally here, giving us a look at what the green brand has been working on and what we can expect to see over the coming months and years, and the event has been better than Summer Games Fest. One of the games shown was Diablo 4 and its new Vessel of Hatred expansion, and players don’t have long to wait before they can jump into it for the first time.

Blizzard has finally revealed when players can expect the highly anticipated Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred expansion to arrive. According to its segment at the Xbox Games Showcase, it will be released on October 8th, 2024. Its impending launch means you won’t have to wait long to find out what happened to Neyrelle after she sailed off with the soulstone containing Mephisto.

Vessel of Hatred will allow players to join the new Spiritborn class, recruit Mercenaries to help you in combat, participate in new PvE co-op activities, and much more. Ahead of the release of the first Diablo 4 expansion, there will be an event on July 18th to reveal gameplay for the new Spiritborn class.

To celebrate the upcoming Diablo 4 expansion, Blizzard has added pets to the game, with players able to claim a wolf from the in-game shop now. If you pre-order the Vessel of Hatred expansion you will also receive the Alkor Snow Leopard Pet, Hratli Canine Pet, and Natalya Tiget Pet. Players will also unlock the War-Cat Mount and Armor bundle, 5 new Armor sets, Angel Wings cosmetic, Town Portal cosmetic, the Seasonal Premium Battle Pass, and 3,000 Platinum by pre-purchasing the Ultimate Edition.
