The next Diablo 4 season, Sins of the Horadrim, allows players to craft their own spells that can be used to become uber-powerful. Alongside new endgame content, Diablo 4 Season 9 is looking to be another massive update for Blizzard’s ARPG.

Diablo 4 Season 9 players on the current PTR server have discovered a new way of “speed farming” in the upcoming season. While this could potentially be nerfed by the time the update reaches all players next month.

Diablo 4 Season 9 teleport spell

Discovered by player stacksofdacks, the current form of the Season 9 spell crafting mechanic allows players to teleport to nearby enemies instantly. Using Propulsion as a catalyst and combining the spell with the Floaty Bobble Arcana and the Bloody Charm Arcana, players can teleport forever and instantly decimate foes in a wide area-of-effect.

This combination of spells is essentially a game changer, allowing players to speed-farm some of the most difficult content of the game. While powerful on PC, it’s even more powerful on console where the controller’s auto-aim allows players to zip to enemies even more efficiently.

However, players who are exploiting the spell combination in the current Diablo 4 Seaosn 9 PTR servers are confident that Blizzard will patch out the exploit in the coming weeks. With players calling the developers the “fun police”, maybe the developer will be kind and let us zip around as much as we want.

Alongside the current Diablo 4 Season 9 update, Blizzard is also working on the rest of its 2025 roadmap as well as its internal 10-year roadmap to keep the game alive for a decade. With a new expansion planned to release sometime in 2026, there’s still a lot of Diablo content coming, as well as a lot of paid microtransactions.

For now, we can get ready for the game’s 2-Year Anniversary event which has been confirmed by the studio. While details are lax on what the update entails, we should get the usual XP and gold bonuses as well as a free reliquary to unlock.
