With Diablo 4 Season 1 just around the corner, there are still a number of issues players have with the base game they want to be addressed. Notably, players are frustrated at the quality of Legendary and Unique drops citing their lack of power overall in comparison to lesser gear.
Taking to the Diablo 4 Reddit one player was quick to note their disappointment at the lack of quality when it came to Legendary and Unique drops for their Rogue with Penetrating Shot and Imbuement build. In the post, they cited that both of the ranged Unique weapons the Rogue can get are simply terrible. They continued by saying that the +60% distant damage buff on Unique drops is already worse than the +60% vulnerable damage seen on other gear.
Another player was delighted to see other players raising this issue as they noted it’s “the game’s weakest aspect.” They continued, “You see people complain about not getting loot all day and they don’t realize… there is no loot to get. You’re farming for rares in this game, rares with boring affixes. That’s it.” The affixes seem to be a major issue for players, with another user saying, “Uniques are awful. And have so many bad affixes on them that most are not worth using.” While bad affixes can be circumvented slightly if the Unique power is worth using, players are more than a little frustrated that they just aren’t better overall. Whether the game’s drops will be improved is possible in a later version of the game but for the time being, we’ll just have to make do.
