Diablo 3 patch 1.0.3b allows you to trade Gems, Dyes, Crafting materials, Blacksmith Plans, Jeweler Designs and Pages of Training in the real-money auction house, meaning everyone stockpiling Radiant gems can now (probably not) get rich overnight. The patch is currently being rolled out globally.
Players still can’t sell their virtual gold for oodles of real-world currency, however, though Blizzard is hoping to add this in a future update.
Blizzard finally launched Diablo 3’s twice-delayed real-money auction house in June, delivering what has become the game’s most contentious feature outside of disastrous login errors at launch.
The 1.0.3b patch also fixes issues with chat channels, tooltips and a crash relating to tutorials popping up when you snatch some items.
The full patch notes can be found on Blizzard’s site.
