Diablo III will be temporarily offline at various points in the next 24 hours as Blizzard readies the servers for the 1.0.5 patch across all regions.

Never fear, though, as the European servers will find themselves down from 02:00 to 12:00 tomorrow, which means only students and the unemployed will be seriously affected.

Diablo III’s 1.0.5 patch was detailed last week, and adds the Infernal Machine event as well as the option to manually scale the power of your enemies. The usual suite of bug fixes and tweaks are also included. The full patch notes can be read on Blizzard’s site.

Demon Hunters should probably spend the next few hours grinding away like a madman before Blizzard fixes the wonkily overpowered Trail of Cinders, then.

As always, fancy cosmopolitan types who use the Global Play feature will be unable to connect to their faraway characters until the 1.0.5 patch has been rolled out across all regions.

Blizzard has also provided the exact times of the server maintenance for all regions:

  • The Americas: 3:00 a.m. PDT (10/16) to 1:00 p.m. PDT (10/16)
  • Europe: 6:00 p.m. PDT (10/16) to 4:00 a.m. PDT (10/17)
  • Asia: 1:00 p.m. PDT (10/17) to 11:00 p.m. PDT (10/17)
