Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition will be available to play for free for Xbox Live subscribers on Xbox one this weekend, as part of the Microsoft Free Play Days promotion. The Ultimate Evil Edition includes the game-changing Reaper of Souls expansion, which elevated the vanilla Diablo 3 experience to the pantheon of greatness. Now you too can play it gratis for four days.
Alongside this Free Play Days promotion, Diablo 3’s Eternal Collection has received a price drop from £60 to £39, saving you £21. This version includes all of the DLC in the Ultimate Evil Edition, as well as the recent Rise of the Necromancer DLC. If you find yourself playing some of the Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Edition and decide to take the plunge, all of your saves and game-progress will transfer over to the full game. Which is always a good thing.
The Diablo 3: Eternal Collection discount and the Free Play Days promotion are both live right now and will be active until 8AM on Tuesday morning BST. So you can begin your download from wherever you are now, and dive right on in later this evening, if you so wish.
