Koei has announced that it will be releasing Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner – Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army, the latest RPG from the popular Shin Megami Tensei series, across Europe on April 27.

I am delighted to be working with Atlus and to be able to bring such a well respected title to European gamers. Games as impressive as this one deserve to reach a wide audience across the globe and this only serves to strengthen our position as a leading publisher of first-rate RPGs in Europe,” said Naoki Katashima, Senior Vice President of KOEI Europe.

Devil Summoner is said to be a departure for the series with a much more action-orientated experience. The game features a new third-person viewpoint, a stunning historical setting and sees players taking on the role of Raidou Kuzunoha the 14th. You must get to the bottom of a kidnapping investigation that proves to be much more sinister than it first seems.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner – Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army is scheduled for release for PS2 on April 27.
