Capcom has announced that Devil May Cry 5 has shipped over two million copies worldwide.

The hack-'n-slash actioner launched for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on March 8, and Josh reckons it's an absolute corker. Furthermore, the game's success has brought total sales for the Devil May Cry series to over 19 million. Not too shabby, eh?

Devil May Cry 5 is the first instalment in the demon-slicing series in ten years, not counting Ninja Theory's reboot, DmC: Devil May Cry, which launched in 2013. Unlike previous games, DMC5 features three playable characters: Dante, Nero, and newcomer V.

The game topped the UK charts upon its release, and receives its Bloody Palace DLC in early April.
