Devil May Cry 5 director Hideaki Itsuno has revealed during a chat with Game Shot (via WCCFTech) that the demonic slice-'em-up sequel may include additional characters as DLC.

While not confirming anything outright, he said that Capcom is willing to release more characters if players desire it. We know that Lady and Trish are in the game, so they seem like solid candidates. There's also Virgil, who everyone seems to love, so he might have a shot, too.

Elsewhere, Itsuno-san said the game will clock in at around 15 hours, which is considerably longer than any previous Devil May Cry game.

Devil May Cry 5 is slated for release on March 8 on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, with a demo due out early next month.
