Taking a sabbatical from Life is Strange, developer Dontnod gives us our first look at gameplay from Vampyr on the PlayStation 4. It’s dark action RPG due out in November this year.
Taking up the role of Dr. Jonathan Reid, a cursed man doomed to life as a vampire, you’re sworn to protect the sick whilst also maintaining your own survival. How conflicted. As a vampirical pillar of the community, Reid must balance his blood-thirsty urges along with his oath to protect those who rely on him.
The video shows us our first look at the story line, combat mechanics and some of the conversational dialogue options open to you. Narrated rather nicely by one of the developers, it gives you an insight into how you can also vanquish many beasts later this year.
