Deus Ex: The Fall, the first Deus Ex title developed for mobile and tablet devices, will be released on Thursday, July 11, Square Enix has announced.

Developed by Square Enix’s Mobile Division in Europe in collaboration with Eidos Montreal and N-Fusion, The Fall is a story-driven action RPG which picks up directly after events from the novel Deus Ex: The Icarus Effect.

Set in 2027 during a time of human augmentation and great social divide, power corporations have seized control from governments and command the drug supply needed by augmented humans to survive.

Ben Saxon, a former British SAS Mercenary who underwent physical augmentation, is desperate for the truth behind the drug conspiracy.

The game will be priced £4.99 and is compatible with iPad 2 and above, iPhone 4S and above, and iPod Touch 5 and above.
