Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s first story DLC, System Rift, has launched today for PS4, Xbox One and PC, though European PS4 users will have to wait a little longer, Square Enix has announced.

“System Rift will not be available on the European PlayStation Store on September 23rd,” reads a statement from the publisher. “Square Enix, Eidos Montréal and Sony Europe are working to have it live as soon as possible and apologize for the delay.”

Fans are advised to follow @DeusEx for further updates.

System Rift sees Adam Jensen reunited with friend and former colleague at Sarif Industries Frank Pritchard. The pair will hunt down information on the mysterious Santeau Group.

“Desperate to get more information, Pritchard targets one of the most secure data banks ever created – the Palisade Blade. In agreeing to help, Adam may also be able to uncover hints as to who the illuminati really are,” reads the blurb.

System Rift is priced £9.49 on PS4/PC and £9.59 on Xbox One. The DLC is also included in the Season Pass, which offers access to next year’s A Criminal Past DLC and other in-game items.

In celebration of the DLC’s launch, Deus Ex GO on iOS and Android will launch a free Pritchard-inspired update. Furthermore, the mobile game is now on sale at a 60 per cent discount through September 29, making the game only £1.49.
