Deus Ex Human Revolution – Director’s Cut, a fully upgraded experience, will be released for Wii U soon, Eidos Montreal has announced.

Released exclusively for Wii U, Director’s Cut will feature a host of Wii U GamePad features including touch-screen hacking, interactive map editing, augmented sniping, grenade throwbacks and other neural hub enhancements.

Director’s Cut also promises visual improvements (Eidos Montreal says this will be the best-looking version), overhauled boss fights, reinforced combat mechanics, Miiverse integration, and access to developer commentaries and in-game guides.

Furthermore, Tongs’s Rescue mission and the entire Missing Link chapter have also been integrated into the narrative flow of the game.

There’s no firm release date besides “soon” at this time, although Amazon had previously listed the game for a May 7 release in the US.
