Developer Quantic Dream has released a batch of new character trailers for upcoming thriller Detroit: Become Human, focusing on androids Connor, Kara, and Markus.

All three characters play a pivotal role in David Cage’s PlayStation 4-exclusive title, which takes place in a futuristic version of the titular metropolis where humans have employed the use of androids for menial day-to-day tasks. As with previous Quantic games, the story is non-linear and you can influence the outcome based on your decisions, even killing off major players along the way.

Kara should definitely ring a bell with fans of the French studio’s works, as she featured in an impressive tech demo back in 2012 that inspired the events of Detroit. Quantic released another stunning tech demo at E3 2013 called The Dark Sorcerer, although that has yet to be adapted into a full game.

Detroit: Become Human is scheduled for release on May 25.Â
