Destiny will run at 1080p and 30 frames per second on Xbox One, Bungie has told video game journalist Geoff Keighley.
“After @xboxp3 interview I’ve been asking devs about impact of new Xbox sdk on perf. Bungie says it will get Destiny to 1080p/30fps on XB1,” Tweeted Keighley.
Earlier this week head of Xbox Phil Spencer revealed in a podcast with Major Nelson that Bugnie was to use the GPU resources freed up by dropping Kinect to increase the Destiny resolution, but didn’t say what this resolution would be.
Let’s hope this is a sign of things to come for Xbox One hitting 1080p on multi-format titles.
