Destiny: The Taken King’s physical week one sales represented just 16% of the original game’s opening week sales in the UK, according to figures released by GFK Chart-Track.

While overall sales figures for the expansion pack have yet to be announced, PS4 accounted for 57% of all physical copies sold in the UK, with Xbox One at 34%, Xbox 360 at 7% and 2% on PS3. Digital sales are not counted by Chart-Track, but given its roots as an expansion, it’s safe to assume that many more copies were sold via digital channels.

Even with that in mind, however, the physical game still managed to outsell new releases Forza Motorsport 6, PES 2016, Rugby League Live 3 and NHL 15 during its opening week, landing at No.1 in the all-formats sales charts.

The Taken King did, however, have a few days head-start on each of them, releasing across the UK last Tuesday. NHL 15, meanwhile, arrived on Thursday, with Forza Motorsport 6, PES 2016, Rugby League Live 3 releasing on Friday.
