Destiny’s PlayStation-exclusive content staying that way until autumn 2015 – report

The PlayStation versions of Destiny will feature exclusive content, including a competitive multiplayer map, weapons and ships.

Now, an Amazon listing for the game suggests that exclusive content will remain solely on PlayStation platforms until “at least Fall 2015”.

The full product listing reads:

• For PlayStation 4 owners, Destiny offers Early access to the Beta on July 17th, and a free 30-Day PlayStation Plus Trial.
• Exclusive content for PlayStation 4 owners includes the Exodus Blue Competitive Multiplayer Map, Dust Palace Strike, Weapons, Ships and Gear that will only be on PlayStation until at least Fall 2015.
• An incredible story set within a newly-imagined, always-connected universe filled with action and adventure.
• Create your character, forge your legend by defeating powerful foes, and earn unique and customizable weapons, gear, and vehicles.

Sony has not confirmed the details of the length of its exclusivity deal with Bungie, but this potentially means Xbox gamers will have to wait a full year before having the chance to get their hands on the content.
