Bungie has released a CGI trailer for its anticipated MMO-like first-person shooter, Destiny.

Featuring a couple of recognisable names – Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad) stars and Jon Favreau directs – it doesn’t give too much away about the game, other than the fact there will be shooting, vehicular combat and badass gas marks. If you can’t be bothered to watch the 60-second video, think Halo meets Star Wars meets Mass Effect and you won’t go too far wrong.

Destiny, due to be released on nearly every console under the sun (Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One), is still yet to have an official release date.

Forget everything you see in the trailer, although it is very well done. The real highlight is the music, composed, as is always the Bungie way, by Marty O’Donnell. It suits the action and the atmosphere perfectly.
