Destiny Collector’s Edition features a Peter Dinklage-voiced AI bot

Destiny is to receive two Collector’s Editions, Activision has announced – one of which features a motion-activated talking AI bot voiced by Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage.

First up is the £94.99 Limited Edition, which includes an exclusive Steelbook case and the game’s Expansion Pass offering access to two future expansion packs, plus the Collector’s Edition Digital Content Pack featuring a unique Ghost casing, exclusive player emblem and exclusive player ship variant.

It also includes a physical Guardian Folio, featuring an Arms & Armament Field Guide, postcards from the Golden Age and an antique star chart, and offers early access to the Vanguard Armoury weapons and gear and an exclusive Vanguard player emblem.

The Limited Edition is currently available for £87.99 on Amazon which, if you’re looking to purchase the Expansion Pass anyway, seems to be a decent price.

Meanwhile, the £149.99 Ghost Edition features all of the above plus a replica of the game’s AI Ghost, featuring motion-activated lights and voice recordings from Dinklage.

It also throws in a Letter of Introduction and Golden Age Relics, which include a Photo, Patch, Sticker and two Chrome slides of the Traveler.

The Ghost Edition will only be available from GAME in the UK.

And if you’re thinking of going digital, a Destiny Digital Guard Edition will also be available featuring a digital copy of the game along with the Expansion Pass and Collector’s Edition Digital Content Pack found in the Limited Edition. Expect that to cost you £84.99.

Destiny launches worldwide on September 9 with a beta due to get underway next week.
