Pre-order customers who have received a Destiny beta key are now able to redeem their key on Bungie.net and register the platform on which they wish to play the beta ahead of next week’s launch.

Players have the option to choose between PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, but be sure to select the right one: the option can’t be changed once confirmed.

However, if you’re lucky enough to have grabbed multiple redemption keys you are able to select multiple formats, giving you the chance to try out the game on both PS4 and Xbox One, or, if you’re intrigued to see what it looks like, take a look at the last-gen version. Up to four redemption keys can be added to any one Bungie account.

As an added bonus, the website also states that each pre-order key will grant the user access to 3 download keys, suggesting you’ll be able to share a couple of keys with friends.

The Destiny beta goes live on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 next Thursday, July 17, and on Xbox One and Xbox 360 one week later on Wednesday, July 23.

UPDATE: Bungie is aware of an issue currently affecting users trying to register for the European PlayStation 4 beta, but assures fans that they “will be able to redeem codes for PS4 (Europe) before the Destiny Beta begins on 7/17”.

UPDATE 2 – 14/07/14: The error has now been fixed. Happy registering!
