Bungie has flicked the switch for the online servers in Destiny 2, which means anyone can play the game right now, provided they’ve got a disc copy of the game. For everyone who bought the game digitally, you’ll have to twiddle your thumbs until later on.

Servers are due to go live at midnight according to each region, which means that all digital pre-orders for the game will be locked until then.

Just so you don’t forget the Nightfall mode is ready on day one, the first Raid launches on September 13 and Trials opens up from September 15. Get on it.

Naturally people will be livestreaming the game across a number of platforms right now, so I’d avoid those and social media if you hate things being spoiled. I know I do.
